Someone who knows the player taps “That's me” on a few shots. From there we follow him only while his shirt number and an unbroken track prove it is him.

Every touch, duel, run and recovery he makes is coded with its time in the match.

Many players on Sighted are under 18. These rules are built into the product, not left to good manners.
Your consent first
An under-18 profile goes live only after a parent or guardian has given consent.
Hidden from the public
Under-18 profiles are never public. Only verified scouts, the player's own coaches and the connections he has approved (other under-18 players and you) can see it.
Verified scouts only
Scouts are approved by our team before they can search players or send a request.
No private messages
There are no direct messages. A verified scout who wants to get in touch sends a request to our team, and we contact you and the club.
No location, no school
We never show an exact location, a school or a date of birth: only a birth year or an age band.
You control who sees what
Profile, performance, posts and who may contact them each have their own setting, and for under-18s your setting comes first. You can ask us to export or delete your child's data.

Questions
What is a Verified Sighting?
A moment from a real match (a dribble, a tackle, a run) that our analysts have checked. It shows the action and its time in the match, and it opens the clip.
How do you know it's really me in the video?
Someone who knows you confirms a few shots (“That's me”). After that we count only the moments where your shirt number and an unbroken track prove it is you. If we are not sure, we leave it out.
Who can see my child's profile?
Nobody, until you give consent. Under-18 profiles are never public. Only verified scouts, the player's own coaches and the connections he has approved (other under-18 players and you) can see it.
What video do I need?
A full match filmed from the side of the pitch, wide enough to see the play.
Which sports and countries?
Football first, for players in Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Basketball and handball are coming.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Players over 18, and parents or guardians of under-18s, can ask us to export or delete their data.
How are posts and comments kept safe?
Photos and videos posted by under-18s are checked by our team before others can see them. Comments on an under-18's posts come only from their connections and pass a keyword filter. Every post has a report button.
